The IKM Foundation proudly announces the initiation of applications for the IKMF Scholarship 2024, extending a unique opportunity to high-achieving KCPE candidates from economically disadvantaged backgrounds across Kenya who have recently completed their primary education.
KM Foundation Education Program: A Beacon of Support
Administered through the KM Foundation Education Program, the scholarship aims to empower bright minds facing financial constraints. The program goes beyond covering secondary school tuition fees, offering additional support for essentials such as uniforms, books, and valuable mentoring.
Eligibility Criteria: Nurturing Excellence in Adversity
Eligible candidates must not only demonstrate academic brilliance but also come from low-income households, be orphaned or vulnerable children, or live with a disability. The program targets those who attended government public schools and have maintained commendable grades given their school and socio-economic background.
Documenting Potential: Letters and Admission Requirements
To complete the eligibility criteria, candidates are required to submit a letter affirming their leadership and moral fitness, along with a letter from the local Chief. Additionally, a high school admission letter must be provided, showcasing the candidate’s commitment to continuing their education at the secondary level.
Application Deadline: Seize the Opportunity
Prospective scholars have until 25th December to submit their applications, allowing ample time to assemble the necessary documentation. The IKM Foundation encourages all eligible candidates to seize this opportunity by clicking on the provided link below to initiate the application.
