Job Purpose:
As a Florist at Glee Hotel Nairobi, your primary role is to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our hotel spaces by designing and arranging visually stunning floral displays. Your creativity and expertise will play a crucial role in creating an inviting and luxurious environment for our guests. The Florist is an integral part of our commitment to delivering a memorable guest experience, ensuring that every corner of our hotel is adorned with fresh and beautiful flowers.
Key Duties:
- Floral Design:
- Create eye-catching floral arrangements for various spaces within the hotel, including lobbies, dining areas, and event spaces.
- Use your artistic flair to design unique and theme-appropriate arrangements for special events and occasions.
- Maintenance:
- Ensure the proper care and maintenance of all floral inventory, including regular watering, trimming, and replacement as needed.
- Monitor and manage the freshness of flowers to guarantee a consistently high standard.
- Inventory Management:
- Keep track of floral supplies, ordering new inventory as needed.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fresh and high-quality flowers.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments to create cohesive and visually appealing designs that complement the overall ambiance of the hotel.
- Take client preferences and feedback into consideration when designing arrangements for special events.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with inquiries about floral displays and offering recommendations for special occasions.
