In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data collected for our projects. You will act as a resource on statistical issues, including experimental design, sample size, statistical analysis, and interpretation of results.

  • Acts as a resource regarding statistical issues, including experimental design, sample size, statistical analysis, and interpretation of results.
  • Conduct analyses and evaluations to determine the suitability and adequacy of data collected and recommend and adapt procedures as needed.
  • Provision of technical solutions and advice on statistical methodology and principles.
  • Responsible for developing Statistical Analysis Plans, including statistical methodology, statistical programming procedures, the definition of derived variables, data handling rules, and reporting results.
  • Responsible for importing, exporting, and manipulating data files, including recording, transforming, and creating variables to accommodate analytic needs.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for statistics deliverables, ensuring activities are appropriate for effectively and efficiently delivering quality output within a specific project.
  • Write program code to analyse data using statistical analysis software.
  • Develop detailed analysis plans and descriptions of analyses and findings.
  • Recommend how to improve the design of future surveys or experiments.

Educational Qualification

  •       MS in Statistics/Mathematics or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  •      Proficient with at least two statistical packages.
  •      Advanced knowledge of statistical software packages such as SAS, R, S-Plus, and Stata.

Experience Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of a variety of statistical procedures
  • Advanced understanding of highly complex statistical theory and methods, design of experiments (DOE), experimental design, descriptive and inferential statistics, and computer systems.
  • Ability to explain statistical concepts to non-statisticians
