Duties & Responsibilities;
Reporting to the Chief of Party, through Programmer Lead,
• Working with the Health Informatics groups at AMPATH to design, develop and modify health applications.
• Thrive in a growing digital landscape implementing the next-generation digital health solutions used within and outside Kenya.
• Collaborate with software engineers to design and customize features that work with/on java-based OpenMRS software.
• Collaborate with external EMR implementing partners in the OpenMRS community, to work on new solutions such as the OpenMRS 3.0.
• Build your skills in and ensure transition to micro-frontends and single-page applications.
• Building your skills in and helping create a health data analytics framework using modern data engineering tools such as MySQL, Apache Spark, Airflow and ELK Stack.
