ADMISSION’S OFFICER- NAIROBI CENTRE (ONE POSITION)- EQUIP AFRICA INSTITUTE

Overview

Equip Africa Institute (EAI) is a premier middle-level institution accredited, licensed, and registered as a Technical and Vocational training college in accordance with the TVET Act 2013 and in line with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education.

The Institute is an affiliate of Mount Kenya University and has Seven (7) Centres; Thika, Nairobi, Kitale, Kisii, Nakuru, Mombasa and Malindi offering quality competence-based training at Diploma, Certificate and Artisan Levels in various disciplines. The Institute also has Driving school and Executive Training & Consultancy arms.

Qualification

Education, Skills and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in relevant area of specialization, i.e. Education, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing
  2. 3 years’ experience in a similar position in a recognized academic institution.

OR;

  1. Higher National Diploma in relevant area of specialization, i.e. Education, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing
  2. 5 years’ experience in a similar position in a recognized academic institution.

Key responsibilities also include

Duties and responsibilities

  1. Marketing the Institute to achieve enrollment goals focused on growth, diversity, and quality.
  2. Assisting in managing the admissions process in line with the Institute’s policies.
  3. Organizing and maintaining student records, including applications and academic performance.
  4. Providing professional guidance and support to applicants, parents, and stakeholders.
  5. Ensuring applications are assessed accurately based on admissions criteria.
  6. Coordinating internal meetings, workshops, and events for the admissions department.
  7. Preparing and maintaining admissions-related documents and reports.
