Role Overview:
This role ensures the effective implementation of Plan International’s child safeguarding policies and practices. The selected candidate will collaborate with program teams to foster a secure environment for children and vulnerable groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement child safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning for child protection.
- Provide technical guidance and capacity-building on child safeguarding.

2. Regional Director, MEESA
Location: Middle East, Eastern and Southern Africa
Role Overview:
The Regional Director provides strategic leadership for Plan International’s operations in the MEESA region. This role oversees country programs, builds strategic partnerships, and drives high-impact advocacy efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of regional strategic plans.
- Oversee country operations, ensuring program effectiveness and sustainability.

3. Youth Advocacy Officer
Location: Global Hub – Flexible
Role Overview:
This role supports youth-led advocacy initiatives aligned with Plan International’s mission. The Youth Advocacy Officer will work closely with youth networks, civil society, and policymakers to drive impactful policy changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement youth advocacy programs and campaigns.
- Support young activists in policy development and advocacy materials.
- Build partnerships with youth organizations and civil society groups.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of youth-led advocacy initiatives.
- Represent Plan International in global advocacy forums.
4. Interim Humanitarian Fundraising Project Lead
Location: Global Hub – Flexible
Role Overview:
The Interim Humanitarian Fundraising Project Lead will spearhead resource mobilization efforts to support Plan International’s emergency response programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute emergency fundraising strategies.
- Engage with donors, partners, and funding agencies to secure financial support.
- Coordinate proposal development and donor reporting.
- Monitor funding trends and identify new opportunities.
- Align fundraising efforts with humanitarian response priorities.
5. Deployable WASH in Emergencies Specialist
Location: Global Hub – Flexible
Role Overview:
This position ensures effective Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) interventions in emergency settings. The specialist will provide technical support, training, and direct response efforts in crisis situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead emergency WASH assessments and response planning.
- Provide technical guidance on water supply, sanitation, and hygiene promotion.
- Ensure compliance with humanitarian standards and best practices.
- Support capacity-building for emergency response teams.
- Represent Plan International in WASH sector coordination meetings.
