Job Summary
As a Business Development Manager, you will report directly to the Executive Chairman and take charge of identifying investment opportunities, conducting feasibility studies, preparing proposals, and performing financial modeling to support strategic investment decisions and fundraising efforts.
Your primary focus will be on driving growth, optimizing resources, and ensuring project profitability, while also managing key stakeholder relationships, including governments, clients, and strategic partners.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Business Development and Investment Strategy
- Identify new business opportunities and develop comprehensive growth strategies.
- Lead the development of investment proposals, working closely with internal teams.
- Drive growth initiatives that maximize resource utilization and profitability.
- Conduct financial modeling to optimize capital structure and enhance organizational performance.
2. Stakeholder Management
- Act as a strategic partner by managing key relationships with governments, local communities, customers, and industry stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration.
3. Financial and Feasibility Analysis
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess project sustainability and investment viability.
- Support investment decisions by providing well-researched financial insights.
- Optimize financial performance through detailed market and investment analyses.
4. Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
- Negotiate contracts with governments, clients, and suppliers to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks.
- Identify and manage potential risks while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regulatory assessments, monitor legislative changes, and ensure adherence to environmental compliance standards.
- Manage the permitting process for renewable energy projects, ensuring regulatory approval and adherence to industry standards.

- Analyze energy market trends and assess new opportunities for investment.
- Evaluate market competition, identify potential risks, and develop business strategies that align with the company’s goals.
