What You Will Do
As a Junior Machine Operator, you will be responsible for executing a variety of operations that ensure the consistent and efficient functioning of our production systems. Your role will involve safety compliance, quality assurance, and operational maintenance support. Specifically, your duties will include:
- Follow Production Safety Rules: Adhere to all established safety protocols and ensure that production tasks are performed within the parameters of occupational health and safety standards.
- Produce as per Given Norm and Following Standard Process: Operate assigned machinery efficiently and accurately as per production plans and prescribed processes to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Execute Basic AM (Autonomous Maintenance) Operations: Carry out regular machine checks and preventive maintenance routines to minimize downtime and ensure optimal machine performance.
- Perform CIL (Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication): Conduct routine cleaning, inspect components, and apply lubrication to prevent wear and tear, contributing to the longevity of equipment.
- Define Anomalies and Put Tags: Detect mechanical or operational anomalies during the production process and apply tagging procedures to ensure timely maintenance and follow-up.
- Quality Tests Execution: Perform standard quality control tests on output to ensure compliance with Tetra Pak’s rigorous product quality standards.
- Create OPIs and SOPs: Develop Operational Procedures Instructions (OPIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline production workflows and maintain consistency in machine handling.

To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate both technical proficiency and strong interpersonal skills. While working under pressure, your ability to adhere to process discipline, communicate effectively, and problem-solve will be crucial. The ideal candidate will possess the following competencies and background:
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in a production environment.
- Ability to identify quality parameters in the manufacturing process.
- Quick learning ability and strong discipline in following procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to engage in hands-on operations.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Working knowledge or experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
