1. Sacco Chief Executive Officer (REF: CBI/KMA/CEO/04/25)

Job Description:
The Sacco Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be the strategic leader of the organization, responsible for providing overall direction, ensuring operational efficiency, and championing innovation and growth in line with the Sacco’s strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership and implement the Sacco’s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the Sacco’s daily operations, including lending, deposit mobilization, member services, and back-office operations.
  • Promote financial sustainability by driving revenue generation, cost control, and efficient resource allocation.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with members, stakeholders, regulators, and business partners.
  • Ensure full compliance with Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) and other statutory bodies.
  • Champion adoption of digital platforms and innovative financial products that meet member needs.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and monitor risk management frameworks and internal controls.
  • Prepare and present financial, operational, and strategic reports to the Board.
  • Facilitate sound governance practices and uphold ethical leadership standards.

2. Sacco Information Systems Administrator (REF: ISA/04/25)

Job Description:
The Sacco Information Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Sacco’s core banking systems, digital platforms, and overall IT infrastructure to ensure efficiency, security, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and provide support for the Sacco’s core banking systems and applications.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Oversee daily IT operations, backups, disaster recovery plans, and cyber security protocols.
  • Manage user access controls, system configuration, and periodic updates.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors for system upgrades and support services.
  • Implement IT security measures to safeguard data and ensure confidentiality.

3. Sacco Senior Human Resource Officer (REF: SHRO/04/25)

Job Description:
The Sacco Senior Human Resource Officer will be tasked with leading the HR function to align people strategy with organizational goals, support staff development, and enhance performance and workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement human resource strategies, policies, and programs aligned with the Sacco’s objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement processes.
  • Advise management on HR best practices, labor laws, and employee relations matters.
