Scope of Work
Successful applicants will be contracted on a need basis to support a wide range of surveying functions. These services are central to land subdivision, mapping, and title processing, ensuring all land development activities are executed with professionalism and regulatory compliance.
The scope of professional services includes but is not limited to:
- Subdivision and Amalgamation of Land
- Carrying out accurate subdivision of land parcels to suit development plans
- Consolidating parcels where necessary in line with project needs and zoning regulations
- Topographical and Geospatial Mapping
- Generating detailed topographic maps for design, planning, and infrastructure development
- Utilizing geospatial technologies to produce high-quality survey outputs
- Boundary Re-establishment and Verification
- Locating and marking existing land boundaries to prevent disputes
- Confirming the accuracy of land records with ground truthing
- Preparation of Survey Plans and Mutation Forms
- Preparing all requisite documents for legal registration
- Ensuring survey plans meet the standards for approval by land offices
- Liaison with Land Offices and Other Regulatory Bodies
- Submitting documentation and obtaining approvals on behalf of Username Investment Ltd.
- Following up on title processing and boundary disputes when necessary
- Advisory Services on Land Matters and Title Regularization
- Offering professional counsel on titling processes, boundary matters, and compliance with the Land Act
- Supporting Username Investment Ltd. in resolving title inconsistencies and securing project land rights
Requirements
Interested individual surveyors and surveying firms must meet the following criteria to be considered for engagement:
- Registered with the Land Surveyors Board of Kenya
- Possess a valid practicing license for the year 2025
- Demonstrated experience in similar assignments (minimum 5 years)
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan land laws and regulatory frameworks
- Availability of modern surveying equipment and relevant geospatial software
- Valid professional indemnity insurance (mandatory for firms)
- Valid company registration and KRA PIN/VAT certificates (for firms only)
Regions of Operation
Projects are located in the following counties:
- Nairobi
- Kiambu
- Kajiado
- Machakos
- Kisumu
- Nakuru

Engagement Type
This is a consultancy engagement. Surveyors will be contracted based on project demand and complexity. Duration and scope of assignment will be discussed prior to engagement and defined clearly in a service agreement.

- This is an open call for both individuals and firms; however, only those who meet the mandatory requirements will be considered.
- All selected surveyors will be evaluated based on past performance, capacity, and compliance with legal standards.
- Firms and individuals may apply for multiple regions, provided they demonstrate capacity and resources to cover such areas effectively.
- There is no provision for salary or retainer. Engagements will be on an assignment basis, agreed upon per project.
