Analyst – Corporate Advisory

Job Purpose
The Analyst – Corporate Advisory will work closely with the Bank and the broader Group teams to provide high-level support in managing and executing corporate finance engagements. This position involves financial modelling, valuation, research, and the production of various financial reports and presentations. The role also contributes to broader initiatives including sustainability reporting and investor communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage a wide range of corporate finance engagements.
- Conduct financial and statistical analysis, develop financial models, and prepare analytical reports and presentations.
- Undertake technical corporate finance tasks including company valuations, and the accompanying industry and financial research.
- Support and execute due diligence processes for corporate advisory assignments.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with institutional investors and stakeholders within the Group.
- Contribute to the preparation of investor presentation materials for quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reporting cycles.
- Support the development and implementation of the Bank’s sustainability agenda; coordinate efforts with subsidiaries and assist in sustainability reporting.
- Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by the Corporate Advisory leadership.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in capital markets, banking, or significant corporate finance advisory roles.
- Proven working knowledge of the capital markets and regulatory frameworks in Kenya, and familiarity with other jurisdictions.
- Expertise in financial modelling, valuations, and corporate advisory engagements.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (Access experience is a plus).
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong presentation abilities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex financial scenarios and provide insight-driven recommendations.
