Job Title: Inventory Operations Accountant

About the Role
As our Inventory Operations Accountant, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our stock and assets, ensuring every item is accurately tracked, reconciled, and reported. You’ll be the link between finance, warehouse, procurement, and operations teams — driving clear, reliable inventory and asset records that support sound financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly stock counts, reconciliations, and investigate variances.
- Reconcile inventory records across systems (warehouse, EMR, Xero).
- Monitor stock movement, COGS, and maintain clear audit trails.
- Support month-end close, financial reporting, and audit schedules.
- Maintain an accurate Fixed Assets Register and ensure timely updates.
- Perform regular spot checks and audits to strengthen internal controls.
- Collaborate closely with warehouse, procurement, and operations teams.
- Lead by example in promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Experience & Personal Attributes.
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- CPA-K / ACCA and 3+ years in inventory/operations accounting.
- Experience in FMCG, healthcare, or supply chain environment.
- Skilled in Excel/Google Sheets, ERP systems, and BI tools.
- Strong reconciliation and variance analysis skills.
- High integrity, detail-oriented, and good communicator.
