Job Description and Responsibilities
Enforcement Assistant III is the entry-level grade in this cadre, and appointees will operate under supervision while undergoing training and gaining experience. The position plays a central role in ensuring compliance with county laws, maintaining public order, and protecting county property. Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Enforcing county laws and relevant Acts as mandated by the Laikipia County Government.
- Conducting regular patrols in designated parking areas to manage traffic flow and ensure orderly parking practices.
- Maintaining order in markets and other business premises, ensuring compliance with trading regulations and licensing requirements.
- Safeguarding county government properties and premises, preventing vandalism, trespassing, and unauthorized access.

Requirements for Appointment
To be considered for the position of Enforcement Assistant III, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade of D (Plain).
- Be aged between 18 and 35 years.
- Be physically and mentally fit in line with the standards applicable to the Kenya Police Force, and possess a fitness medical certificate issued by a Government hospital.
- Possess a valid Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
