Job Description

​​​​​​Duties and Responsibilities

1. Draw the material distribution plan within his area of jurisdiction
2. Draw and implement route maps of material distribution
3. Arrange election materials in readiness for collection by POs/DPOs
4. Coordinate the transport of the materials to various polling stations
5. Support the Returning Officer in the distribution and retrieval of election materials
6. Identify gaps in material received and distributed and liaise with ROs in addressing the gaps.
7. Maintain records of all the materials received, distributed and retrieved.

Job Requirements

Requirements for Appointment

0.  
1. Kenyan citizen of high integrity, and be non-partisan;
2. Hold a Degree/ Diploma certificate from a recognized institution;
3. Computer literate;
4. Have effective communication skills;
5. Have good report writing skills;
6. Proven organizational skills
7. Resident in the constituency/Ward in which they apply for;
8. Must be knowledgeable in logistics, distribution and retrieval of materials;
9. Should be conversant with the Geography, infrastructure and terrain of the Constituency/Ward he/she applies to work in; and
10. Must be available for the entire period of the exercise.

Wages

Logistics Officers will be paid Kshs. 1,500 per day
