Application Form Guidelines
This form is issued free of charge.
Instructions
- The application form must be filled in accurately, completely, and in capital letters.
- Applicants called for an interview must bring the originals of all attached documents.
- Incomplete or inaccurately filled forms will be rejected automatically.
- Applicants must attach copies of all required documents. Any application missing relevant documents will be rejected.
- Canvassing is strictly prohibited and will result in automatic disqualification.
- Completion and submission of the form does not guarantee sponsorship.
- Any false information, omissions, or forged documents will lead to automatic disqualification.
- The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation reserves the right to make the final decision on scholarship beneficiaries.
- Only 2023 KCPE candidates are eligible.
- Submit the completed application form to your Sub-County Education Office.

Failure to complete every part of this form makes the applicant ineligible for the scholarship.

- Information related to participation in the Elimu Scholarship Programme, including attendance, performance, sibling information, and referrals

- Determining successful applicants according to selection criteria
- Communicating with parents, guardians, and students
- Monitoring and evaluation purposes
- Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Selection and administration of the programme, including shortlisting, interviewing, and home visits

JKF may obtain and/or share personal information in the following circumstances:
- To gather additional information about the applicant’s education or family financial situation for the selection process
- To communicate with stakeholders involved in decisions regarding the applicant’s education
- To share information with donors, medical service providers, counsellors, and mentors
4. Data Security
JKF will implement appropriate measures to protect personal information from:
- Accidental or unlawful destruction
- Loss or alteration
- Unauthorized access or disclosure
5. Data Transfers and Cross-Border Transfers
JKF may transfer personal data to donors outside the country when necessary for oversight. All transfers will comply with the Data Protection Act, 2019, with measures to safeguard your data.
