Supporting our teachers

We offer a comprehensive professional development programme, with many local and international providers. We strive to identify potential in our staff and offer the appropriate training including both InSeT and leadership programmes, and back this up by actively promoting staff within the group. We also have links to a number of universities, both local and overseas; we are the local provider of the International Post Graduate Certificate of Educational (PGCEi) through the University of Nottingham.

We belong to both the Kenyan and Tanzanian international schools associations, which allows for further opportunities for training and the sharing of good practice.

Outside the classroom

Our schools are located in international hubs. The opportunities for sport, socialising and travel are extensive, with white sandy beaches, game parks and Africa’s highest mountains all within easy reach.

  2. Must have at least 2 years experience in similar position
  3. Knowledge and experience with an accounting package is an added advantage

Braeside Lavington School is looking for a qualified History and Sociology Teacher for KS3 to KS5 who meet the following key requirements:

● Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, with specialization in the respective field.

● Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

● Must have experience teaching the British International Curriculum, especially KS5.

Braeburn Garden Estate is seeking a highly qualified Science Teacher to undertake a part-time post at the School.

Key requirements are;

  1. Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in education with specialization in Biology and Chemistry.
  2. Must be registered with Teachers Service Commission.
  3. Must have experience in teaching Years 9 to 13 with a focus on Biology and Chemistry at KS4 and KS5.
  4. Experience of the IBDP Biology curriculum would be an added advantage.
