COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

Based in Nairobi, the Communications Officer will contribute to the implementation of the communications strategy while leading the development of visual and audiovisual products.

The Center’s current Strategic Plan (2022–2026) is coming to an end, and a new plan for 2027–2031 will be developed for Board approval in November 2026, with implementation commencing in January 2027. APHRC invites qualified consultancy firms with proven institutional capacity and experience in strategic planning to lead a structured and consultative process for the development of the 2027–2031 Strategic Plan. The assignment will run from the 3rd week of May 2026 until 18 December 2026.
QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE FIELD INTERVIEWERS – KARAMOJA, UGANDA

APHRC seeks to recruit qualified Qualitative and Quantitative Field Interviewers to support data collection for its WFP-Home Grown School Feeding Program (HGSFP) Project. This study aims to investigate the nutritional status of school children, comparing WFP-HGSFP-supported schools with non-supported schools; measure the nutritional composition of school meals; assess the acceptability and consumption of locally available and nutritious foods; and identify the barriers and facilitators to HGSFP implementation. Data collection is scheduled to take place in July-October 2026. Only applicants residing in the following districts in the Karamoja region (Abim, Amudat, Kaabong, Karenga, Kotido, Moroto, Nabilatuk, Nakapiripirit, Napak, and Karamoja) should apply.
