1. Bachelor’s Degree Programmes

The programme is open to eligible students pursuing Bachelor’s Degrees, Diplomas, and selected Craft Certificate courses in accredited learning institutions across Kenya. Successful applicants will be placed in various departments within Kenya Power for a maximum period of three months, running from September to November 2026.

Industrial attachment opportunities are available for students pursuing Bachelor’s Degree programmes in both technical and non-technical disciplines.

Important Notice on ICT Courses

Applicants should note that Kenya Power has clearly indicated that there are no industrial attachment opportunities for Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-related courses during the September–November 2026 intake.

Students pursuing ICT programmes are therefore advised not to submit applications for this intake.

Duration of the Attachment

The industrial attachment programme will run for a maximum period of three (3) months.

Successful applicants will undertake their attachment between:

  • September 2026
  • October 2026
  • November 2026

Applicants should note that the allowable attachment period is strictly three months.

Eligibility Requirements

Interested applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Be available on a full-time basis for the entire three-month attachment period.
  • Be a continuing student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or the specified Craft Certificate programmes in an accredited learning institution.
  • Possess a valid introduction letter issued by their respective learning institution.
  • Have valid personal accident insurance cover that remains active throughout the attachment period.
