KCB Foundation, in partnership with the NG-CDF Office, has announced Grade 3 Level scholarship opportunities under the 2Jiajiri Programme. The scholarships are intended to support eligible young people who wish to pursue vocational training in selected courses offered at the listed Vocational Training Centres.

The programme provides an opportunity for successful applicants to gain practical skills through structured training and industrial placement. Applicants are required to carefully review the available institutions and courses before selecting their preferred training option in the application form.

The selected training institutions, together with the courses available under the scholarship programme, are provided in the course-selection section of the application form. Applicants should ensure that they choose a course and institution that matches their interests and availability, as they will be expected to undertake the training at one of the listed centres.

Applications must be submitted by September 8, 2026. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend interviews on September 11, 2026, at the respective listed institution. Candidates are encouraged to complete the application process early and ensure that all required information is provided correctly.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the KCB Foundation 2Jiajiri Programme Grade 3 scholarship, an applicant must meet all the listed requirements.

1. The applicant must have a valid National Identity Card.
2. The applicant must be aged between 18 and 34 years.
3. The applicant must be willing to undertake training at any of the listed Vocational Training Institutes.
4. The applicant must be able to read and write in Kiswahili and/or English.
5. The applicant must be ready to attend all training sessions, including industrial placement opportunities offered within their city or town of residence.
6. The applicant must fall under one of the following categories:

• Skiller
• Apprentice
• Business Owner

The selection process is competitive. Meeting the eligibility requirements does not automatically guarantee admission into the programme, as applications will be assessed through the established scholarship selection process.

Application Instructions

Applicants should complete the application form clearly and accurately. Only fully completed applications will be considered for the scholarship opportunity.

1. Applicants should provide all the requested details in the application form.
2. Incomplete applications may not be processed or considered during shortlisting.
3. After submitting the completed form, applicants should select the “Save My Responses” option.
4. Once the responses have been saved, the applicant can reopen the completed form and download a copy.
5. Applicants should carry the downloaded and completed application form to the interview venue.
6. During the interview, candidates must present their original National Identity Card.
7. Candidates must also present certificates for their highest academic qualification.

Failure to present the original National Identity Card and the relevant highest academic qualification certificates during the interview will result in automatic disqualification.
