Mombasa County Announces 3,000 Temporary Jobs.
The Mombasa County Public Service Board has announced 3,000 temporary job opportunities for youth, women and persons with disabilities under the Flood Prevention, Drainage Restoration and Environmental Rapid Response Programme.
The positions include 1,500 casual workers under Transport and 1,500 under Environment, with successful applicants engaged for three months.
Applications must be submitted through the County Public Service Board recruitment portal by September 22, 2026, alongside the required documents.
The Board has warned that canvassing will lead to disqualification and emphasized that it does not use agents or charge any application fee

The Mombasa County Public Service Board invites applications from suitably qualified and competent youth, women and persons with disabilities for engagement as casual workers on a temporary basis under the County Flood Prevention, Drainage Restoration andEnvironmental Rapid Response Programme, implemented through the Mombasa Yangu Programme in the County Government of Mombasa.A total of 3,000 youth will be engaged and on boarded in phases, based on the County’s
operational requirements and approved deployment arrangements.
