Responsibilities
- Handling petty cash
- Updating all cash transactions and ensuring that various transactions are posted to the right accounts.
- Receiving cash invoices from staff
- Co-ordinating with the sales team to ensure that cash is banked daily and records updated.
- Bank and Mpesa reconciliation for all stores
- Assist in keeping record of all company assets
- Ensure maintenance and safety of financial records and files
- Assist in making financial statements
- Help in reviewing and ensuring compliance to finance laws to avoid litigation
- Ensuring that the entries made in the system are allocated accurately.
- Enhancing a good relationship with our suppliers is maintained.
- Make payments via Mpesa and monitor movement of funds on Mpesa platform
- Maintain an updated filing system.
- Ensuring office supplies are replenished in good time after receiving the list from the admin manager
- Assist departments where finances are required
- Any other function as directed by the finance manager.
Qualifications
- Degree in finance/accounting
- Knowledge on computer applications
- CPA is an added advantage
