The Meru County Public Service Board (MCPSB) is a legally established corporate entity under Section 57 of the County Governments Act of 2012. Its primary mandate includes the appointment of individuals to hold or act in various offices within the County Public Service. To address the capacity gaps created by the departure of skilled officers over the past three years, the Board is undertaking a recruitment drive to fill these critical positions. This effort aligns with Article 176 of the Constitution of Kenya (2010) and Section 63 (2c) of the County Governments Act No. 17 of 2012, which provide for replacement in county departments.
