Internship Responsibilities
As an Urban Planning Intern, you will support UN-Habitat’s urban planning and development initiatives. Your key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in research, data collection, and analysis related to urban planning, land use, and infrastructure development.
- Supporting the design and implementation of urban policies and frameworks aligned with UN-Habitat’s goals.
- Contributing to reports, presentations, and publications on sustainable urbanization.
- Assisting in organizing meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
- Supporting GIS mapping, spatial analysis, and visualization projects.
- Engaging with local authorities, civil society organizations, and private sector stakeholders on urban development projects.
- Performing other related tasks as required by the supervisor.
