1. Senior Superintending Engineer (Civil) – 2 Posts

Job Grade: CPSB 06
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 58,360 – Ksh 90,200 per month

Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical drawings as per work requests.
  • Ensure housekeeping and maintenance adhere to safety standards.
  • Maintain and service equipment and tools.
  • Plan and execute maintenance on civil structures, roads, and buildings.
  • Review internal project blueprints and structural specifications.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare technical specifications and estimates for tendering.

2. Architect – 2 Posts

Job Grade: CPSB 08
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 44,400 – Ksh 61,110 per month

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sketches, scheme designs, and production drawings.
  • Interpret client requirements and implement them in design.
  • Promote the use of innovative construction materials.
  • Ensure proper post-contract administration.

3. Superintendent (Buildings) – 6 Posts

Job Grade: CPSB 09
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 39,700 – Ksh 52,960 per month

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Clerk of Works, overseeing construction.
  • Supervise maintenance works and repair projects.
  • Interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Ensure construction follows specifications.
  • Prepare cost estimates and schedule materials.

4. Principal Physical Planner – 2 Posts

Job Grade: CPSB 06
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 58,360 – Ksh 90,200 per month

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor county physical development plans.
  • Provide advisory services on land use and zoning.
  • Prepare action plans for key development projects.
  • Ensure compliance with physical planning regulations.
  • Organize and record planning liaison committee meetings.

5. Physical Planner – 2 Posts

Job Grade: CPSB 09
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 39,700 – Ksh 52,960 per month

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare physical development plans.
  • Conduct feasibility studies on land use and development.
  • Process development applications.
  • Maintain physical planning records.

6. GIS Expert/Cartographer – 2 Posts

Job Grade: CPSB 09
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 39,700 – Ksh 52,960 per month

Responsibilities:

  • Draw survey and cadastral plans.
  • Maintain geospatial databases.
  • Prepare topographical base maps.
  • Update base maps using aerial imagery.

7. Valuer – 1 Post

Job Grade: CPSB 09
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 39,700 – Ksh 52,960 per month

Responsibilities:

  • Collect data for the National Land Value Index.
  • Conduct market analysis for valuation.
  • Assist in land valuation for taxation and lease extensions.
  • Conduct title searches and measure buildings for valuation.

8. Environment Management Officer I – 2 Posts

Job Grade: CPSB 09
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 39,700 – Ksh 52,960 per month

Responsibilities:

  • Implement environmental management plans.
  • Conduct environmental audits and follow up on compliance.
  • Maintain compliance registers.
  • Inspect waste generation and disposal methods.

9. Human Resource Management Officer I – 2 Posts

Job Grade: CPSB 09
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 39,700 – Ksh 52,960 per month

Responsibilities:

  • Process HR documents including recruitment and payroll.
  • Update staff establishment records.
  • Implement HR policies and regulations.
  • Maintain human resource databases.

10. Supply Chain Management Officer – 2 Posts

Job Grade: CPSB 09
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 39,700 – Ksh 52,960 per month

Responsibilities:

  • Handle procurement and supply chain operations.
  • Maintain supplier databases and tender awards.
  • Manage stock records and issue stores.
  • Implement safety procedures in stores.

11. Senior Accountant – 2 Posts

Job Grade: CPSB 08
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 44,400 – Ksh 61,110 per month

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial reports for county entities.
  • Process payments, receipts, and vouchers.
  • Maintain accounting records and databases.
  • Conduct revenue collection and financial audits.

12. Social Welfare Officer I – 2 Posts

Job Grade: CPSB 09
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh 39,700 – Ksh 52,960 per month

Responsibilities:

  • Mobilize communities for development projects.
  • Assist in grievance redress mechanisms.
  • Identify self-help groups and organizations for registration.
  • Collect and analyze social development data.
