Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) was established in 1991 under the KAA Act Cap 395 to provide
facilitative infrastructure for aviation services in Kenya.
Guided by its mandate, the Authority is seeking to recruit competent and self-driven persons to fill
the under listed positions
1. General Manager, Operations & Safety
Job Description:
- Oversee and coordinate all airport operations to ensure efficiency and safety compliance.
- Develop and implement safety policies and emergency response strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize operational processes and enhance customer experience.
2. Manager, Aviation Security
Job Description:
- Implement and manage security protocols in compliance with national and international aviation standards.
- Supervise security personnel and coordinate with law enforcement agencies.
- Conduct risk assessments and oversee incident response and investigations.
3. Manager, Maintenance & Standards
Job Description:
- Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure infrastructure compliance with safety standards.
- Manage budgets and resource allocation for maintenance activities.
- Supervise maintenance staff and contractors to ensure operational efficiency.
4. Airport Manager, Malindi
Job Description:
- Manage day-to-day airport operations to ensure safety and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with airlines, security agencies, and other stakeholders for operational efficiency.
- Oversee staff management and maintain effective communication channels.
5. Manager, Birds & Wildlife Control
Job Description:
- Implement strategies to minimize wildlife hazards to aviation safety.
- Coordinate wildlife control programs and conduct risk assessments.
- Collaborate with environmental agencies for effective wildlife management.
6. Manager, Security Services, Moi International Airport (MIA)
Job Description:
- Manage security operations, including passenger screening and access control.
- Ensure compliance with aviation security regulations and standards.
- Coordinate emergency response and collaborate with law enforcement agencies.
7. Legal Counsel (Contracts)
Job Description:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
- Advise on legal risks and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Represent KAA in contract disputes and negotiations.
8. Manager, Procurement & Logistics, Moi International Airport (MIA)
Job Description:
- Manage procurement processes and ensure compliance with procurement regulations.
- Oversee logistics and inventory control for airport supplies and equipment.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and maintain cost-effective procurement strategies.
9. Manager, Administration & Staff Welfare
Job Description:
- Develop and implement staff welfare policies and programs.
- Oversee office administration and support services.
- Manage employee engagement and grievance resolution mechanisms.
10. Manager, Planning & Statistics
Job Description:
- Develop strategic plans and policies for operational efficiency.
- Conduct data analysis and generate statistical reports for decision-making.
- Manage research and development initiatives for business growth.
11. Credit Analyst
Job Description:
- Conduct credit risk assessments and financial analysis.
- Review and evaluate client credit applications and financial statements.
- Monitor existing credit facilities and prepare detailed credit reports.
12. Electrical Engineer
Job Description:
- Design and maintain electrical systems in compliance with safety standards.
- Manage energy consumption and optimize electrical systems for efficiency.
- Supervise electrical contractors and oversee project timelines.
13. Civil Engineer
Job Description:
- Plan, design, and supervise civil works, including runways and infrastructure.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure safety compliance.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder coordination.
14. Manager, ICT Service Management
Job Description:
- Oversee ICT service desk operations and technical issue resolution.
- Implement IT service management best practices for operational efficiency.
- Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory standards.
15. Manager, ICT Projects
Job Description:
- Plan and implement ICT projects within budget and timelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
16. Manager, Retail & Concessions
Job Description:
- Develop and implement retail strategies for revenue generation.
- Negotiate contracts with concessionaires and monitor retail performance.
- Enhance customer experience and manage retail space allocations.
