Main Purpose of the Job- (Job Summary)
Provide psychosocial support to staff and patients.
Main Responsibilities
1.Provide counseling services as required.
2.Preparing periodical reports for decision making
3.Planning for counseling activities within a unit
4.Training, orienting & supervising Counseling interns
5.Facilitating support group sessions for survivors and care givers
6.Staff debriefing
7.Maintain client/patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
8.Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor in line with the job description.

Academic & Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in clinical counselling psychology
3 years’ experience as a resident counsellor in a healthcare facility
