About GEAPP

The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) is a collaborative initiative that unites philanthropy—including the IKEA Foundation, The Rockefeller Foundation, and the Bezos Earth Fund—with governments, technology innovators, policy makers, development partners, and the private sector. Our mission is bold and transformative:

  • Expand access to clean energy for one billion people by 2030
  • Enable the creation of 150 million new jobs
  • Prevent 4 gigatons of future carbon emissions

GEAPP believes that clean energy is development. Without it, progress across health, education, livelihoods, and climate resilience is compromised.
