GEAPP Hiring Intern Productive Use of Energy

by Recal

Are you passionate about clean energy, sustainable development, and making a lasting impact in Africa? The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) is seeking a dedicated and driven Intern to support its Africa team in driving forward initiatives in clean cooking and Productive Use of Energy (PUE). This opportunity places you at the heart of a global movement to transform energy access and accelerate inclusive green economic growth in emerging and developing countries.

About GEAPP

The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) is an alliance of philanthropic organizations including the IKEA Foundation, The Rockefeller Foundation, and the Bezos Earth Fund, working alongside governments, private sector partners, technology innovators, policy experts, and development institutions. GEAPP’s mission is rooted in the belief that clean energy is development. Without energy, every other form of progress—economic, educational, health, or social—is undermined.

By 2030, GEAPP aims to:

  • Expand access to clean, renewable energy for one billion people.
  • Enable the creation of 150 million new green jobs.
  • Prevent four gigatons of future carbon emissions.

GEAPP is building a movement that promotes inclusive growth, advances sustainable energy solutions, and supports climate goals critical to our global future.
