Mission Statement for the Role
As a Field Sales Representative, your core responsibility is to drive customer and revenue growth in your assigned geographical territory. This is a field-based role where you’ll engage with local communities to promote and sell Poa! Internet’s products and services.
Key Responsibilities
As a Field Sales Representative at Poa!, you will:
- Identify and approach potential customers within your assigned area.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through face-to-face engagement.
- Conduct daily field visits, educate prospective clients, and drive conversions.
- Represent the Poa! brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Ensure full compliance with the sales process, from prospecting to closing.
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Submit timely and accurate reports on sales activities.
- Demonstrate operational excellence through punctuality, accountability, and integrity.
Skills and Experience Required
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following:
- Minimum 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in B2C (business-to-consumer) environments.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Confidence to handle objections and the skill to close deals effectively.
- Self-driven and goal-oriented mindset with a strong sense of resilience.
- Excellent work planning and organizational skills.
- A creative and strategic approach to lead generation and customer engagement.
- Experience selling home internet services or working with low-income and informal communities is an added advantage.
Academic Qualifications
- Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
