Medical/Surgical Nurse (Locum)

Job Purpose
To deliver high-quality nursing care and support patient safety initiatives within the medical-surgical ward.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct patient care (assessment to evaluation)
- Patient advocacy and education
- Clinical leadership and advanced nursing care
- Collaborative care planning with interdisciplinary teams
- Emergency response, accurate documentation, and proper handover
- Specimen handling, ward preparation, and patient orientation
- Participation in outpatient clinics and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Diploma in Nursing (degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years in a medical-surgical ward
- Computer literate
- Updated BLS and ACLS certifications
