Job Opportunity – Sales Executive (Hino)
Location: Nairobi – Branch
Division: Hino Sales
Reports to: Sales Manager
Introduction
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our Hino Sales division. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of Hino trucks and buses to both new and existing customers, with the aim of expanding market share and boosting revenue.
Job Purpose
To promote and sell Hino products, develop strong client relationships, and provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs while achieving set sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular field visits to identify and convert potential customers, expanding the client and market base.
- Attend to referrals and walk-in customers in the showroom, promoting products to close sales.
- Prepare accurate quotations to ensure customers are fully informed on pricing and offerings.
- Compile and present sales reports to assist management in monitoring performance.
- Facilitate customer financing by sourcing, processing, and following up on finance applications.
- Coordinate aftersales follow-up to address customer concerns post-delivery and ensure satisfaction.
- Gather competitor market intelligence to guide business planning and decision-making.
- Generate sales orders in SAP, ensuring all KYC and documentation are complete for timely delivery.
- Participate in marketing activities and events to create awareness and attract new customers.
- Attend marketing events and actively engage with potential clients to drive product interest.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant sales experience.
- Strong communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
- Knowledge of telematics, lease management, and the automotive market.
- Customer-focused, with strong interpersonal and time management skills.
- High levels of integrity, ethics, and innovation.
