The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) is seeking a motivated and creative individual to join its team in Nairobi as a Graphic Design Intern. About the Role
As a Graphic Design Intern, you will work closely with the communications and design team to support the development of creative materials that enhance UN-Habitat’s outreach and visibility. You will contribute to projects that inform and engage diverse global audiences.
Job Description
- Assist in the creation of digital and print design materials, including reports, brochures, posters, infographics, and social media content.
- Support the team in maintaining UN-Habitat’s visual identity and ensuring branding consistency across communication materials.
- Participate in brainstorming and idea generation for design projects, ensuring content is both innovative and aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide layout and formatting support for publications and presentations.
- Assist in preparing creative assets for web and digital campaigns.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to design content that communicates key messages effectively.
- Support day-to-day tasks within the design unit as required, including photo editing and file management.
