APHRC Hiring Quantitative Field Interviewer

by KMax

The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) is inviting applications for the role of Quantitative Field Interviewers in an upcoming research initiative. APHRC is recognized as a premier research-to-policy institution working across sub-Saharan Africa to generate evidence, build capacity, and support policy engagement on pressing health and development issues. Through its projects, the Center plays a critical role in strengthening African-led research leadership and promoting evidence-informed decision-making that contributes to meaningful societal change.

In line with this mission, APHRC is currently leading the Kenya Young Adolescents Gender Norms Study. The project aims to generate reliable and strategic evidence on the gender norms shaping behavior, health outcomes, and socio-economic pathways among young adolescents between the ages of 10 and 14 in Kenya. This study represents an important opportunity to shed light on the gender-related factors that influence the lives of adolescents, with findings that are expected to inform future policy and programmatic interventions.

To facilitate the successful execution of this study, APHRC seeks committed, detail-oriented, and community-rooted individuals to serve as Quantitative Field Interviewers. The data collection exercise is scheduled to take place between November 2025 and January 2026. Given the localized nature of the study, applicants residing in the following counties are particularly encouraged to apply: Kilifi, Taita Taveta, Makueni, Tharaka Nithi, Kirinyaga, Nairobi, Garissa, Migori, Kisumu, Kericho, Vihiga, Narok, Uasin Gishu, and Turkana.

This recruitment drive reflects APHRC’s commitment to advancing inclusive and evidence-driven research practices by engaging individuals from the very communities where data will be collected.
