Chief Finance Officer (CFO)
Location: Head Office, Nairobi
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Job Purpose
The Chief Finance Officer will provide strategic and operational leadership of the Finance function to ensure the company’s long-term financial sustainability. The role will oversee financial planning, reporting, risk management, and compliance, while providing insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Drive capital management, investment strategies, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax obligations, and internal financial policies.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Provide financial insights to the CEO, Board, and senior leadership to support business growth and profitability.
- Lead and mentor the Finance team to build a high-performance culture and ensure continuous professional development.
- Collaborate with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders to maintain transparency and accountability.
