Currently, Poa! is recruiting for two key roles: Junior Systems and Support Engineer and Cyber Security Engineer. These positions play an essential role in maintaining the integrity of our infrastructure and ensuring that our customers enjoy seamless and secure internet access.
Cyber Security Engineer
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Level: Mid-Senior Level
Department: Internet Services
As cyber threats continue to evolve, safeguarding digital assets and ensuring customer data security has become one of our top priorities. We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer who will play a crucial role in strengthening our cyber defenses, monitoring threats, and implementing security measures to protect Poa!’s infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage security solutions to protect systems, networks, and applications.
- Continuously monitor Poa!’s systems for security vulnerabilities, incidents, and breaches.
- Investigate, analyze, and respond to security alerts, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into system development and deployment.
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration tests, and audits to identify risks.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Train employees on cybersecurity awareness to minimize internal risks.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and emerging threats.
