IEBC Hiring Voter Registration Clerk – Huduma Centre

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

The Voter Registration Clerk will:

1. Operate biometric registration kits (KIEMS/VIU tablets).
2. Verify eligibility of applicants as per electoral laws.
3. Assist applicants in filling registration forms accurately.
4. Ensure safe custody of registration equipment and materials.
5. Report and transmit voter registration data daily to Registration Officers.
6. Uphold IEBC’s code of conduct, data protection, and confidentiality.
7. Provide courteous and inclusive service to all, including persons with disabilities and vulnerable groups.
8. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

1. Be a Kenyan citizen aged 19 years and above.
2. Hold a minimum KCSE C- (minus) or its equivalent.
3. Possess computer literacy and ICT skills;  
4. Diploma in ICT, Statistics, Education, Business Administration, or related field will be an added advantage.
5. Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.

Registration Clerks based at Huduma Centres will be paid Kshs. 1,500 per day

Applications should be received online or hard copy applications delivered to the respective IEBC office not later than 16^th October 2025.
