A. Cook III – CSG 15 / Job Group E (18 Posts)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh. 21,120 – Ksh. 26,250 per month
Annual Leave Allowance: Ksh. 6,500 per annum
Leave Entitlement: 30 days per annum
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 3,000 per month
House Allowance: Ksh. 2,960 – Ksh. 4,500 per month, depending on the region of deployment
Medical Cover: As provided by the Government
Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry grade for the Cook cadre. Officers appointed at this level will undergo on-the-job training and work under the supervision of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Preparing raw food for cooking.
- Cleaning equipment used in food production.
- Maintaining hygiene by ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen and its surroundings.
- Setting up and preparing equipment for food preparation and production.
- Reporting defective equipment to the supervisor.
B. Housekeeping Assistant III – CSG 15 / Job Group E (5 Posts)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh. 21,120 – Ksh. 26,250 per month
Annual Leave Allowance: Ksh. 6,500 per annum
Leave Entitlement: 30 days per annum
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 3,000 per month
House Allowance: Ksh. 2,960 – Ksh. 4,500 per month, depending on the region of deployment
Medical Cover: As provided by the Government
Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry grade for the Housekeeping Assistant cadre. Officers appointed at this level will undergo on-the-job training and work under the supervision of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Dusting and cleaning rooms and corridors.
- Making and spreading beds.
- Washing cleaning materials and equipment.
- Replenishing cleaning materials and supplies.
- Washing linen and guest laundry.
- Ironing guest laundry and linen.
- Ensuring proper storage of all equipment used.
C. Artisan III – CSG 15 / Job Group E (19 Posts)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh. 21,120 – Ksh. 26,250 per month
Annual Leave Allowance: Ksh. 6,500 per annum
Leave Entitlement: 30 days per annum
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 3,000 per month
House Allowance: Ksh. 2,960 – Ksh. 4,500 per month, depending on the region of deployment

Duties and Responsibilities
This is the entry grade for the Artisan cadre. Officers appointed at this level will undergo on-the-job training and be assigned simple repair and maintenance duties under the close supervision of a more experienced officer in their area of specialization, including:
- Carpentry.
- Masonry.
- Welding.
- Painting.
- Plumbing.
D. Security Warden II – CSG 15 / Job Group E (25 Posts)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Salary Scale: Ksh. 21,120 – Ksh. 26,250 per month
Annual Leave Allowance: Ksh. 6,500 per annum
Leave Entitlement: 30 days per annum
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 3,000 per month

Duties and Responsibilities
A Security Warden II will work under the supervision of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Patrolling and guarding access points.
- Preventing unauthorized persons and vehicles from entering premises or protected areas.
- Collecting information and reporting matters of security interest.
