International Centre for Reproductive Health–Kenya (ICRHK) is recruiting an M&E Advisor to strengthen monitoring and evaluation framework for sexually transmitted infections and support national STI program coordination. Working closely with the Ministry of Health and key health sector stakeholders, the Advisor will provide technical support in development of measurement systems to support the transition from syndromic STI management to a diagnostic approach, including the integration and rollout of point-of-care STI testing.
The Advisor will support review of current STI M&E frameworks, data collection tools, and reporting mechanisms, and develop a strategic plan to enhance these tools in alignment with national digital health platforms (including Taifa Care and KHIS).Â
Duties & Responsibilities
·     Mapping of the STI stakeholders at national level and subnational level
·         Review of the current STI data collection and reporting tools.
·         Identify the gaps in the current STI data collection and reporting tools
·         Spearhead development of the new STI data collection and reporting tools
·         Review of the national STI M&E framework
·         Identify gaps in the national STI M&E framework
·         Collaborate closely with the Ministry of Health and relevant stakeholders to co-design and institutionalize a robust national STI M&E framework, indicators, and data visualization dashboards.
Personal Attributes
-        Demonstrated experience supporting or working with Kenya’s national HIV and STI programs and Ministry of Health structures.
- Â Â Â Â Â Strong understanding of health system strengthening for HIV, and STI care and prevention interventions
- Â Â Â Â Â Experience with DHIS2, Taifa care (Tiberbu HMIS and KenyaEMR), KHIS, other electronic health information systems, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Â Â Â Â Â Prior work experience working with government under donor funded programs will be an advantage.
