The Opportunity

Plan International is looking for a motivated PACE Officer to join our Policy, Advocacy, Campaigns & Engagement (PACE) team. In this vital role you will provide support to the team responsible for driving and delivering Plan International’s influencing work. You will support the delivery of our Global Advocacy Strategy (GLAS) and global campaigning efforts, working closely with key teams across the organization to drive impactful advocacy and youth-centered campaigns.

You will collaborate with the Global Advocacy Manager and PACE Director to ensure coordination and knowledge sharing, and provide operational and project support for key campaign deliverables within Plan International’s Global Campaign Framework. This is a great opportunity for those passionate about youth advocacy and campaigns,

The Person

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role within the charity, NGO, development, or private sector, with a background in campaigning, advocacy, or activism. You should be fluent in English and have experience in project management, including budget support.

Strong organisational, planning, and administrative skills are essential, along with excellent communication, creativity, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

You should be a proactive team player, with a passion for youth participation, feminist campaigning, gender equality, anti-racism, and girls’ rights, and the ability to manage a varied workload with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Location: The location of this role can be flexible, preferably where Plan International has an office* that can employ on behalf of the Global Hub and you have the pre-existing right to work and live. Central GMT time-zone is preferred. You may be office, home or hybrid based. 

Type of role: Permanent or maximum fixed term contract as per employing office’s standard terms and conditions.
