Job Description

The Card Operations Officer is responsible for managing and executing all operational activities related to debit, credit, and card acquiring products. This includes card issuance, transaction processing and monitoring, dispute resolution through chargeback, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, scheme and security standards. The role supports seamless card services for customers while maintaining operational efficiency and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

Type of Qualification: First Degree

Experience Required

3-4 years

  • Advanced understanding of finance and accounting concepts and practices.
  • General banking knowledge and working experience within a financial institution performing reconciliation of card transactions.
  • Experience card operations management systems and payment gateways
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Conversant with Card scheme rules
