Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, responsible for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes across the continent. As a market leader in the non-alcoholic ready-to-drink (NARTD) market in Africa, CCBA operates with an extensive footprint, employing over 14,000 employees across the continent.
Our 3-month Internship Program is an accelerated development initiative designed to provide you with valuable experience and exposure to real-world business challenges. You will work on exciting projects under the mentorship of a competent supervisory team, gaining practical knowledge across key departments. This program aims to shape you into a world-class leader while setting a strong foundation for your career.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for dynamic and motivated students to join our program in the following disciplines:
1. Engineering (Automotive, Electrical, Mechanical, and Mechatronics)
As an Engineering Intern, you will:
- Assist in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.
- Participate in the design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment or systems.
- Support operational efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Collaborate with teams to maintain production equipment and ensure optimal functionality.
2. Quality Control (Microbiology, Food Science, and Occupational Health & Safety)
As a Quality Control Intern, you will:
- Assist in laboratory testing and analysis to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of quality management systems.
- Participate in compliance audits related to food safety and occupational health standards.
- Contribute to the investigation and resolution of quality issues within production.
3. Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
As a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Intern, you will:
- Provide support in the maintenance and repair of refrigeration systems.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving air conditioning system malfunctions.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize energy efficiency within refrigeration and HVAC systems.
- Learn about the installation and commissioning of advanced cooling systems.
4. Supply Chain Management
As a Supply Chain Management Intern, you will:
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating the movement of goods.
- Support inventory management and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Work on streamlining logistics and warehousing processes for operational efficiency.
- Participate in procurement planning and supplier relationship management.
5. Sales & Marketing
As a Sales & Marketing Intern, you will:
- Assist in market research to analyze trends and customer preferences.
- Support sales teams in managing client accounts and achieving revenue targets.
- Contribute to marketing campaigns and brand promotion initiatives.
- Provide administrative support in preparing presentations, reports, and proposals.
6. BBIT or Computer Science
As a BBIT or Computer Science Intern, you will:
- Support the development, testing, and maintenance of IT systems and applications.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to software and hardware.
- Contribute to IT projects, including system upgrades and process automation.
- Help ensure data security and integrity across platforms.
