This is the entry and training grade within the administrative cadre. Officers appointed to this position will work under the guidance and supervision of senior officers and will be deployed either at County Headquarters or within Field Administration offices depending on organizational needs.

County Headquarters Responsibilities
Officers deployed at the County Headquarters will be responsible for supporting administrative operations and ensuring efficient management of county resources and facilities.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
• Carrying out general administrative duties within assigned offices and departments.
• Coordinating the enforcement of county laws and regulations.
• Ensuring the security of county government property, assets, facilities, and inventories.
• Facilitating the maintenance of county infrastructure and facilities.
• Overseeing transport management and ensuring effective utilization of transport resources.
• Planning and coordinating office accommodation requirements.
• Overseeing the development and updating of office equipment and furniture inventories.
• Coordinating logistical arrangements for meetings, conferences, and special events.
• Supporting the organization and facilitation of official county functions.
• Supervising general maintenance of county buildings and furniture.
• Ensuring efficient utilization and management of government resources.

Minimum Requirements
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must possess:
• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines:
- Public Administration
- Business Administration
- Business Management
- Community Development
- Any other Social Science from a recognized institution.
• Certificate in Computer Applications.
