The Kenya Trade Network Agency (KenTrade) has announced new career opportunities for qualified and experienced professionals seeking to join the public sector. The agency is recruiting for seven positions on permanent and pensionable terms across information technology, customer service, networking, infrastructure, and internal audit functions.
Established under the National Electronic Single Window System Act No. 25 of 2022, KenTrade is a State Corporation under the National Treasury. The agency is mandated to establish and manage the Kenya National Electronic Single Window System (KENSWS) and facilitate trade by simplifying and streamlining trade-related processes through technology.
KenTrade is inviting applications from individuals who meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya for the following vacancies.

1. Senior Internal Auditor Information Systems (KTNA 6) – 1 Post
The Senior Internal Auditor Information Systems will support the agency’s internal audit function by focusing on information systems and ICT-related controls. The position is expected to contribute to strengthening governance, risk management, and compliance while helping safeguard the integrity of the organization’s technology environment.
2. System Administrator (KTNA 7) – 1 Post
The System Administrator will be responsible for supporting the administration and smooth operation of the agency’s ICT systems. The role is expected to contribute to maintaining reliable system performance, ensuring system availability, and supporting users across the organization.
3. Infrastructure Engineer (KTNA 7) – 1 Post
The Infrastructure Engineer will support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the agency’s ICT infrastructure. The position plays an important role in ensuring that technology resources remain reliable, secure, and capable of supporting KenTrade’s operations.
4. Network Engineer (KTNA 7) – 1 Post
The Network Engineer will support the management and maintenance of the agency’s network infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring efficient connectivity, network reliability, and the smooth flow of communication across the organization’s ICT environment.
5. Customer Service Officer (KTNA 7) – 1 Post
The Customer Service Officer will support the delivery of quality services to stakeholders by responding to inquiries and facilitating customer engagement. The position contributes to enhancing customer satisfaction and promoting efficient service delivery within the agency.
6. Contact Centre Assistant (KTNA 9) – 2 Posts
The Contact Centre Assistant will provide frontline support by handling customer inquiries received through various communication channels. The role contributes to timely information sharing, effective issue resolution, and positive customer experiences.
7. Customer Service Assistant (KTNA 9) – 1 Post
The Customer Service Assistant will support daily customer service operations by assisting clients and responding to general inquiries. The position helps ensure efficient service delivery while maintaining professional interactions with stakeholders seeking KenTrade services.
